What is the purpose of the CPAA?

The CPAA is an independent organisation which seeks to enhance the pleasure of flying and operating Cessna aircraft in Australia through its support of type specific clubs and associations. Such support will be provided through access to information and technical assistance via the CPA and this website, focussing on Australian owners/pilots/operators. The CPAA instructors also provide assistance to members in relation to specific Australian issues.

The CPAA is committed to pilot training and safety and regularly organises training opportunities for Australian Cessna pilots. The CPAA committee designed and implemented the Cessna 182 Pilot Proficiency Program and the Cessna Single Engine Pilot Proficiency Program. CPAA also delivers Pilot's Maintenance Training courses. CPAA regularly invites presenters from overseas to come to Australia and deliver their training programs for the benefit of Australian Cessna pilots.

How is the CPAA funded?

The CPA will pay the CPAA a token amount for each Australian member. Funds will also be derived from the sale of a limited amount of merchandise and through sponsorships from various Australian organisations.
